چکیده

Microgrids have the potential to provide customers with improved power quality and reliability. However, there are technical challenges related operation control of microgrids distributed energy source (DERs) that constitute them. Resonance caused by low-pass filters connected voltage inverters DERs is one those issues in microgrids. This paper proposes a novel technique Active Damping Algorithm (ADA) for resonance damping improving dynamic stability microgrid composed multiple converter-interfaced DERs. The considers two cases; where resistor filter capacitor parallel, other they series. proposed active method based on output current feedback automatically calculated adjusted coefficients suppress resonance. was verified through simulation experimental tests carried out using PSCAD/EMTDS an operational Beijing, China. results from both experiment analysis showed devised able achieve intended target; effectively surpassed frequency responses quite stable within acceptable range during large changes system.

Nonlinear Control of Voltage Source Inverters in Microgrids

Microgrids represent a new and flexible form of electrical networks. This form is based on the use of Distributed Generators which are connected to a microgrid through Voltage Source Inverters (VSI). In this paper, we propose a nonlinear controller that allows the regulation of the output voltage and frequency of a VSI. The system consists of a VSI and an LC filter associated to a coupling indu...

A Single-Loop Repetitive Voltage Controller with an Active Damping Control Technique

This paper proposes a single-loop repetitive voltage control strategy which incorporates the active damping control feature for single-phase uninterruptible power supply (UPS) applications. The proposed method reduces the effect of the LC resonant peak, which limits the control bandwidth and deteriorates the stability of the entire control loop by effectively increasing the damping component. D...

Impedance Matching Based Control for the Resonance Damping of Microgrids with Multiple Grid Connected Converters

This paper presents an impedance-matching-based control scheme for the harmonic resonance damping of multiple grid-connected-converters (GCCs) with LCL filters. As indicated in this paper, harmonic resonance occurs if a GCC possesses an output impedance that is not matched with the rest of the network in some specific frequency bands. It is also revealed that the resonance frequency is associat...
